I had to check the cover three times before I realized it was an actual movie I held in my hands. It's just sooooo stupid. We've head Freddy vs Jason. We've had King Kong vs Godzilla. And now... (it's actually from the 50's or so, but still):

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians"

Yeah, that's right. It's got Santa and martians in one movie. The plot is something like the martian kids gets addicted to Earth television and want to have fun. This upsets the martian parents, so they set out to Earth to kidnap Santa Claus and takes him to Mars. Here he is forced to make Christmas presents for the martian kids so they can learn about Christmas and all that. Problem is some other martians don't like the children having fun, so they try to kill Santa all the time. It's just so stupid. In many ways it doesn't get worse than this, but that's exactly why it's so damn fun to watch. And since it's made in the early 50's or so, expect really bad special effects to match the idiotic story.

If you can find this movie anywhere, do yourself a favour and watch it. It's brilliant. You thought Plan 9 From Outer Space was bad but you haven't seen nothing yet. Just htink about it. Santa Claus vs The Martians. Who came up with that idea? It must have been very late one Saturday night... :lol

you were watching Mystery Science Theatre 3000 weren't you? Don't lie...nobody knows that movie well more then MST3000 fans...

Oh and one more thing...there is NOTHING in this world worse then Plan 9 from Outer Space..."Santa Conquers the Martians" had a decent script....but Ed Wood Jr's cult classic was so funny that it didnt even need ablibs. Especially on the opening monoloque...when "Coswell Predicts" appears...he says the movie's name was "GRAVE ROBBERS FROM OUTER SPACE"....which they forgot to edit in the final cut...

Never heard of this movie before. Is it like Howard the Duck?? Now that movie was a train wreck. You didn't want to watch, but couldn't find the strength to turn your head...

Howard the Duck, cost $3.4 Billion to make...only got $1.2 Million. The sad part is, this movie was done by George Lucas's special effect team

Oh, I admit that I liked watching it. But it's still pretty stupid. Another stupid movie that I liked watching from time to time was Garbage Pail Kids The Movie. I got it on DVD!! :D

Yeah one night I went on ebay to see what Garbage Pail Kids were going for, because I found my old collection in a box that was buried in a closet. Then I saw the movie. Some guy had a VHS copy, but ran it through his computer to clean it up a bit and made about a dozen DVD copies and sold them for like $10. I don't know if the copyright ran out on the movie or not, so the legality is in question. And I am sure in a few years, Topps representatives will read this post, track me down and sue me for a gazillion dollars. Oh well. :D

Plan 9 is among the worst movies ever, but the problem is everyone thinks it's funny. That makes it a great comedy, no matter what it was supposed to be. Santa vs the Martians are just bad.

Howie the F... uh, Duck? I've seen it and try to forget about it. It's a piece of junk, but great compared to many other movies. Tremors 2-4 for instance. Three movies all about the big worms, without the actual worms? No thanks. "Eat and Run?" An alien comes to Earth and starts eating people. He then gets put on trial, but since he's only been on Earth two years, they say he's two years old and thus too young to go to jail? And that's the good part. The rest of the movie are even worse.
Sequels? Lots of bad movies right there, and too numerous to mention them all. Let's just agree sequels are bad with a few exceptions. (Aliens for instance.) We can then move on to Batman & Robin and think about the fact even George Clooney said he ruined that movie. And that before we discuss Arnie's part in it. :D

Geez, you kids these days. Oh, and I almost forgot. "Curse of Frankenstein", starring Christoper Lee as the monster. If you ever get to see it, run away screaming and never look back. You'll loose all respect you have for this fine actor for all eternity. Kinda like watching Stallone and Carradine in "Death Race 2000". Two great actors, one almost watchable movie. (ever heard of a game called Carmageddon? This is the movie that game is based on.)

Don't you Dare disrespect the Christopher Lee, 1963 Classic "Curse of Frankenstien"!! >:( That is a friggin' classic and one of my favorite films that I felt was well scripted for the time being!

FYI, there is a sequel made in 1964, called "Revenge of Frakenstien", which stars the same actor who played Doctor. It picks up exactly where Curse ended off and it was brilliant young lady!

No offense Ms. Kid Nightwolf, but you're not batting a thousand this week.

Nightwolf, run away screaming, for there are talks of a Death Race 2000 remake.
As for calling us "kids", how old do you think we are anyway?? :lol

"Curse of Frankenstein" sucked bigtime, no question about it. But then again the Lord of the Rings movies got popular somehow, so I guess you can sell anything to someone if the price is right. :D

As for your age, that I am not gonna answer. The reason? Only kids care, and since you seem to care a lot... :lol As for your age, here's a few fun questions. Can you name some of the bands from Woodstock? How many Wolf Man sequels are there? And finally, what happened when America finally withdrew from Vietnam and said the war was officially over? :? If you are my age, you might know all this. If you are younge you don't have a clue what I'm talking about and either a) won't bother to answer or b) come up with something stupid we both know are wrong.

The Wolf Has Spoken. 8)

im 16 and lets see

Woodstock bands that I know-

Grateful dead
The Who
Jimi Hendrix
Jefferson Airplane
Janis Joplin

I know theres more but those are the ones that I remember

wolf man sequals -
this one im not sure about but I think there where 4 or five

after the us withdrew and said the war was over-

North and south vietnam kept fighting and the us refused to help south vietnam

I dont think those questions prove anything about age   :D
