axis and allies

I am curious as well... I've seen a little on it, but I have never played it.

Has anyone else played it? Want to throw some comments up?

I played it for a small bit at a friend's house. Never played the board game before, and I had no idea what was going on with the interface (I just jumped right in to a game to start blowing stuff up, I didn't pay attention to the tutorials) but it wasn't too bad after a bit.

If you could find it in a bargain bin somewhere and you're a fan of RTS games, you may as well pick it up.
