Beautiful Katamari demo is up!

Its okay, I could see myself getting into it.

And skate isn't going to be a good game. I read in EGM it takes the realism to a fault, and you'll find yourself wanting to bust out a 40 foot grind Tony Hawk style.
 
Beautiful Katamari huh? I've always wanted to try one of those games. I'll try it out when I get home from work, if I set time aside from my Franchise in Madden. ::D

well, your wrong about that. i dont let magazines decide my opinions before games come out.

and the demo was delayed, we dont know how long, but they said less than a week.

I loved the demo!! I played it like three times, and each time my Katamari was bigger than the last time. :D

The achievements and leaderboards are going to be so cool!!!!

I just hope it comes out at a reasonable price, though.
 
I don't know. I just played the demo. Maybe I should give it another try. The controls were awkward for me...basically you move both analogs in the direction you want to go? I think? Anyways, I don't know if I did good or not...the King guy just kinda dissappeared. Maybe I'll try it again later....the first time, it just didn't seem like my kinda game. :lol
 
It takes some getting used to if you've never played it before. And even though I'm used to the controls, it took three times of playing the demo before I rolled a 3M ball. :)
 
One thing about the demo that struck me is that the music wasn't very prominent. (Did it even have music??) The first Katamari game had an awesome soundtrack. I hope they bring it back and improve it for Beautiful Katamari.
 
I don't remember any music. I just remember being annoyed everytime the warning message would pop up when something was gonna hit me or something. :lol
 
i played it once and realized that its probably directed towards children and druggies. it was lame IMO

pretty addictive, though. if the final version has a time limit, then its garbage
 
The time limit's always in it. I agree, it takes away from the fun of the game.
