My best is Marth,but I would have to say Ness is the best character.The fact that he can absorb damage is phenomenol!

Yoshi,Link,G&W,and Falco are probably the next best four,in my opinion

I actually won 20 bucks(10 more than the entry fee)placing in 16th in a tourney a while back.
 
Best character? I have no idea. I think it would depend on who was playing. :D

The character I'm personally best with is probably Mario. But I also like playing as Link and Young Link. And of course Zelda/Sheik.
 
O.k. firstly and are especially there no such thing such as a best character. Each of game them similar or are same the thing. Everything have been based on the skill level or mental capitcity of the user. Everyone knows that. Why I the time remind then I young lad was and used tennis read novels. I the wasent well at math but others were. This way theres are no easy manner of the hunting of stags math. illegitimate in the most countries. Visit Switzerland whereas you can.
 
Gannandorf all the way. No idea why i like him so much though. He's pretty sweet though. I haven;t played that game in ages though.

Actually Cpt. Falcon was my favorite in the first game (because he was so fast), but for some reason I just didn't like him as much. He's probably 4th on the list behind Link, Fox, and Marth. 8)
 
Luigi's wave dash is damn good and Peach is just annoyingly good. Fox/Falcon and Sheik are good too and Ganandorff has a really good spike.
Out of those characters, probably Marth. His range is just op a little.

However, I play JigglyPuff :]

How come you don't play as Kirby, like your avatar?
 
I've recently started playing this again, and switched from Marth to Young Link. Despite not being a favourite to SSBM players, I like him and have gotten pretty good with him already. He has some sweet arial moves, has better projectiles than older Link and is pretty fast. :)
 
u know no one has said anything about giga bowser, i mean ive never played with him, but ive tried to get him, i think u gotta like beat the adventure mode w/in 18 minutes or w/e, most ppl just cheat to get him, but i wouldnt want cheapen the game by cheating like that, has anyone ever gotten giga bowser?

Didn't even know there was a Giga Bowser. I thought I got all the characters. Too bad I sold SSBM Melee. I'm gonna pick it up again soon though.
