Best Cheap Games

bigbob

I'm the naked one!
What are your guys opinions for the best cheap games? Talking about PS2 and X-Box. Say you have $100-150 and you want a lot of games but you want them good.

Gamestop's got some pretty good deals. It's neither of your consoles, but they have good games like Metroid Prime for $6, so I'm sure you could find a lot by looking around. I'm going there sometime to preorder Brawl so I'll look around then.

A gamestop around me had God Hand and Castlevania: SOTN each brand new and for $5 each I thought it was a misprint but no it wasn't. Let's just say I wanted to pee everywhere.

Well I have a PS2, X-Box, N64, Dreamcast, a Wii and a Gameboy Advance..but I doubt they have anything for the 64 or Dreamcast, so I'm limited for games.

PS2 Xbox Both
Metal Gear solid 2 Knights of the Old Republic Black
Metal Gear Solid 3 Knights of the Old Republic 2 Manhunt
Extermination Ninja Gaiden Prince of Persia 1-3
Freedom Fighters Scarface
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy XII
Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts 2
Killzone
God of War
Dragon Quest VIII
Radiata Stories

Hoped this helps

The ones crossed are what I have, but that helps a lot. What is Radiata Stories?

Radiata Stories was a pretty good RPG...kind of under the radar. Heres a link to its site:

Well, the Wii is backwards compatible, so don't rule out GC games (unless you don't have any more GC controllers). There's a few great, cheap GC games I can think of, but you need a GC controller to play them.

Luigi's Mansion (short, but totally fun...very underrated game, IMO)
Tales of Symphonia (if you can find it)
Soul Calibur II (Link is an exclusive character in the GC version)
Metroid Prime
Animal Crossing
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

There's probably more, those are off the top of my head.

On the $5 rack at K-Mart I recently picked up Seek and Destroy for PS2. It's a strange but interesting Japanese translation that's kind of like a traditional quest game, but with cutesy little tanks as characters and various vehicles as town NPCs. The cover is very misleading cuz it makes it look like a serious military game. It has nothing to do with the old PC game of the same name.

With respect to the "X-BOX" I can't help you,but as far as the "PS2" you can't go wrong with the "Final Fantasy" games that are the "Greatest Hits" Titles. There is a lot of great RPG"S for the "PS1" that will play on your "PS2",such as "Star Ocean:The Second Story","Breath of Fire III".

The only thing that sucks is that the above mentioned games might prove difficult to find,or expensive due to collectability issues.

Wow, I'll admit I overlooked this as well. But, after seeing the trailer, I'm going to probably pick this up really soon.

Oh, try to get Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. It took me and my friends each over 200 hours for all of us to get 100% on the game.

Impressive Fr0dus,that's no easy task. 8)

You might be able to play PS1 games on your PS2, but you still need a PS1 memory card.
