RE4 is reallly the best one up there for one person to play alone, Smash brothers is fun and all but only if you are playing against other real human players.
 
Melee is one of the best games this generation, much less just the best game on GCN.

I still go to about three tournaments a year for that game. Absolutely astounding to play at high level play. A blast.
 
Mario kart was a bit dull, if you played alone it was pointless as it wasnt fun. When you play withanother human player though it can be fun to try to team up to beat the Bowser dynasty, man did I hate them winning everyone 1st place spot on every track.
 
Gotta be honest... I couldn't really tell you.. Ikaruga is a great game as well!

So is Wind Waker! Battalion Wars... and more.

RE4 kicks some major a$$, but I still like the original RE remake the best. Metroid Prime is a close second, though.
 
I just want to say that after beating RE:4, I must say, that this game is incredibly underrated. I know it gets its praises every now and then but not too many. This is probably only one of the games that I have played that I can truly say was an absolute pleasure to play from beginning to end (and as of right now, it still is since Im going through it one more time.)
 
Oh, ya. Metroid Prime was awesome too. Somehow, I forgot that one. For some reason Metroid Prime 2 did not seem as good....
 
RE4 was astounding to play. Great graphics and switched up gameplay machanics were incredible. Smash was awesome with other people, as well as Mario Kart DD. I had my doubts way back when I started in Windwaker, but that was a solid game that I love to revisit.
 
Best game for the GC would have to be.....either 007 Nightfire or Medal Of Honor: European Assault. My friends and I always have so much fun playing those games.
 
Those games are multi-system though so it actually makes them weak - I say Paper Mario cuz that game friggin ruled
 
RE4 is a contender for my favorite game of all time, so of course i voted for it.

just curious, why isnt wind waker on the poll!? :-\
