I just finished watching X-play's best of 2010 episode, found here http://www.hulu.com/watch/203222/x-play-best-of-2010-awards

It is that time of the year when we can look back and reflect on the events of this year.

So, what are the EGA favorites of 2010?
--------------------------------------

My personal favorites are pretty straightfoward.

Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty (PC)

Halo: Reach (360)

Left 4 Dead 2: The Sacrifice (DLC)

Personal Favorites of 2010 for me are

PSP- Persona 3 portable

PS3- Blazblue continuum shift

DS- Golden Sun Dark Dawn

PC- Super meat boy

Wii- Tatsunoko VS Capcom

but overall game of 2010 that I absolutely loved is Ys VII and Ys oath in felghana. I absolutely loved both games

360: Halo Reach
PSN: Dead Nation
DSiWare: Cave Story
WiiWare: Cave Story
Wii: Donkey Kong Country Returns
PS3: 3D Dot Game Heroes
PSP: God of War Ghost of Sparta
NDS: Golden Sun
XBLA: Dead Rising 2: Case Zero
PC: WoW Cataclysm

Let's see -

-----
X360: Red Dead Redemption

DLC: DR2 Case Zero / Undead Nightmare

PS3: Gran Turismo 5
-----

That's all I can think of for now.

360: Halo Reach
PS3: Heavy Rain
PSP: Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
Wii: Donkey Kong or Metroid Other M
Downloadable: Super Meat Boy
PC: Mass Effect 2

Biggest disappointment of the year: Epic Mickey and Bioshock 2

Best Game of the Year: Super Street Fighter IV

Reason I give SSFIV my GOTY is for the simple fact that I have spent the most time out of any game on SSFIV. On PS3 I have about 300 hours and on 360 I have about 200 hours. And it's still fun and I'm learning more and more. I have a feeling coming June I'm going to be spending alot more time with it.

I'm going to be honest and say I haven't really played much if it wasn't on the 360 or DS, so I'm only going to reply for those systems. :lol

360: Mass Effect 2 - but Halo Reach is close second
DS: Golden Sun Dark Dawn

360: Alan Wake
PS3: Heavy Rain
PSP: Persona 3 PSP
PC: Mass Effect 2
DLC: Undead Nightmare

My GoTY? It's tied between Mass Effect 2 and Heavy Rain. Honestly, I had such a great time between the two that I find it hard to pick one. Both were rich in storytelling, personal in several ways, engaging control schemes, and both were just beautiful at look at. Definitely no contest, these are my two top picks.
