Whether the game uses an original score, or simply contains a compilation of licensed tracks, the music for the game must add another level of emotional depth and weight to the experience. Moreover, the game’s diverse, yet suitable, sound effects must engage the player on a variety of levels, not only by extending the realm of gameplay to audio sensory perception, but also by making the player want to crank the volume up to 11. The winner of this award must make hearing the game as fundamental to the experience as seeing the game, and it must do so with the greatest audio fidelity possible.

Calling, someone is calling!

TWEWY did have amazing vocal tracks.

I had to pick Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness for the sake of the fact that, although it lacked vocals, each track in each of the various locations proved to be quite on point for them and actual soothing or scary or exciting or hilarious. There was just some charm about them that made visiting certain locations in the game just for the sake of hearing the music pleasing. Also dont go to a Monster House, its ridiculous. Ultimately the Bubble Beach area was the best and most soothing song. It sounded beautiful and soothing and it matched each scene that took place there. Actually one of the scenes there was virtually one of the most joyous for that was immediately after I felt extreme remorse over what happened in the story.
