DEFINATLY R6Vegas. Its way better than Oblivion (which gave me severe ADD) and GoW (which is incredibly over rated). 8)

In my opinion, its not so much better. Gears of War had a short (WAY too short) campaign with limited replay value and average multiplayer, but the single player was good while it lasted. I haven't finished R6Vegas's campaign yet, but it seems longer with deeper gameplay and more replay value, not to mention the EXCELLENT multiplayer. Game play hasn't changed much. I rented it...twice even...jus to use the multiplayer aspects but I jus love the teamwork element in Gears of War.
There's just a much teamwork in R6Vegas. It is a SQUAD based shooter. I'm not sure what cooperation element your talking about in Gears, but I remember having almost NO control over my squad in Gears. Yes you can...but since the enemy and your squad's A.I. is phenomenal....you don't really have to use it.

I never really used it. For the most part, your squad will take care of themselves and you as much as they should.
