In your experience,what "RPG" Title tends to overdue it when it comes to storylines?
 
Final Fantasy after III/VI. Really annoying having a cut scene every few minutes. A lot of folks fell in love with the series starting with VII, but that's when I lost interest. Still enjoy the Tactics games, though.
 
I actually liked the story in Super Paper Mario. It was touching at the end. But, the whole collecting seven hearts thing reminded me a lot of a Zelda game.

I don't think rpg stories are overdone. If anything, many are too shallow or cliche, and I wish they had actually done more with them.

I liked Super Paper Mario's story too. The ending was sad and touching, but I almost couldn't help but laugh at it cause of the ultimate stupidness. :lol
