(Feels good making a topic in Gen. Discussion again :p)

Hey, was just wondering who else here was into blogging. I have always wanted to get into it, but I wanted to get a camera first so I could color-fy my entries (Text got boring quickly for me). Well, I still haven't gotten a camera, but I do have one blog.

So, do you have a blog/link to it? Do you have multiple blogs? What are the blogs about?

It's brand new so there's not much yet, but it'll whip into shape in no time. Basically, I use this blog to post logs of what happens in my current video games I'm playing, which right now is just SSBM and Metroid Prime: Hunters. Maybe more in the future, but this is where I'll be posting my progress.

Switch over to BLogger or something. MLG sucks ass as a company and their organization. Their get togthers suck and are completely unorganized. I fully do not support MLG.

I was planning on going to an MLG event too >__> To play some real SSBM. Guess that's a no.

Don't. Where do you live? What state? Hit me on AIM at Kureishima or Yahoo at Shenhuafan or MSN at fuschiasaurus and we'll talk. I go to about 4 tournaments a year for Melee.

MLG is not the place to go.

By the way, most of the players I've met in Texas who play Melee are complete assholes. Just a headsup.

You need to start practicing hardcore buddy. Get the wavedashing, absolutely necessary with Marth and work on the tip. Come down to Tallahassee and play with us bud, or head up to Atlanta with us and play with Wes and co.

I have a blog one is quite extensive (www.starrynitetrist.blogspot.com) and the other is quite formed for video games with an occasional review and bits and pieces of suggested games to play (www.tristangames.blogspot.com). CHeck it out sometimes.
 
Topic kinda SSBM hijacked but it's my board xD

Yeah I'm in re-training with Marth. I used to be good, before Wavedashing was discovered, then when that came out and I couldn't do it I lost all sight of a pro future. Now I'm back into it. Working on spikes/wavedashing into a grab currently.

Here, one question. How does one, such as Ken/Isai do it (Whichever one's marth, not sure), perform two aerial attacks before landing? I never understood that. I know they SHFFL when they land but the air part confuses me. Thanks. :D

I haven't personally played Ken, but he's the Marth you speak of. I have playe Azen/Chillen/Isaiah though.

Azen's a fucking beast.
 
I should probably just give up because of SSBB coming out soon but I aspire to be great so I shall at least try. :)

Azen's a beast dude. You just don't know. And when you're at a tourney with him, he's usually just laying around sleeping most of the time until it's time to play. He just whips it out and it's over.

I wouldn't ever give up, becuase Melee is one of the best games ever conceieved and it's not a guarante that Brawl will be better/nor that the tournament community will follow it over Melee.
 
I've seen some footage of him playing.

I'm gonna go optimistic on you and say anything's possible, and I will end up beating him one day :D Yes I know I sound like a naive, but it's a goal. :D
