Who else is going to be picking up this game?

I am not 100% certain if I am yet.... but I very well could be bringing this title home for myself :)

Anyone looking forward to this at all?

Anyway.... please post up!

I am very very excited for this game. I am a sucker for games with intense audio, and I know this game was nominated for and won many awards for having the best audio. It's a definite rental and depending on just how good that audio is I may just pick it up for keeps.

There is another link in case you are interested :)

This game is looking to be a very nice addition to the Gamecube.
Check out the pics..etc.

Every time I see a commercial for this game I actually get excited for it. For the first time in a long time the game's release date seems too far away, even though its only a couple days...

So is this game any good then?

I wasn't a fan of MOH: Frontline, so I hope it's better than that. I'm in need of another decen't FPS for GC.

at least this company can make a game for the Gamecube without it being horible (I am bitter over ea :lol)

I read IGN's article... and they gave all 3 versions in the 7.0-7.3 range.

so, I am not sure either.

I bet it will be fun though. I'd pick it up... but I am now out of cash :-\
bills came ... and they suck.

It has been my experience to NEVER trust IGN. If you don't want to take my word for it check out the current reader score, ya know, actual gamers. A solid 9.4 in stark contrast to IGN's 7. In fact, no other reviewer I've seen has given the game lower than an 80%, and that was because it got a 4/5, which is pretty darn good. So I'd take anything IGN has to say with a grain of salt, check the reader score instead, and read other reviews.

Edit: As well, if you check the link I provided the reader's have voted IGN's review to be the least accurate, and the most accurate one to be a 9/10. That's 2 reader polls and 3 review sites that have given this game at least a 9/10, and 1 review site that has given it below an 8.

I do understand that...

REaders scores... I have a hard time trusting those as people sometimes don't vote right... ok... a lot of times.  Yes, most vote right.... but most people give scores that are too high or too low.

I cannot believe no one has played it yet. I haven't had the money or time.... otherwise I would have played this :-\

:lol

I actually do own this game and have played through it twice now. I wrote up a brief review in the "What are you playing right now" thread and I actually went to track that post down to post it here but I forgot what I was doing and never got around to it.

If WWII and FPS's aren't your thing, don't waste your time and money on this game. However, if killing Nazis is your cup of tea, then there's no better way to do it (except maybe on the PC version).
