Capcom today announced that the game has achieved Player's Choice status for Nintendo's console, meaning it will be repackaged with a new price tag of $19.99, down from $39.99. However, the PlayStation 2 version of the game remains priced at $39.99.

Plus! add more PC Capcom fuel to the fire

Onimusha 3 and DMC3 are coming to PC now
 
Actually, if you can find one, Toys 'R' Us marked them down to $9.98; but they seem to disappear real fast at that price.

Give it time. Remember the Cube version of RE4 came out about a year ago while the PS2 version came out like this past September. By the fall the PS2 version will reach Greatest Hits Status.

I'll definitely get it then. My friend was just talking about this game today. He says he's 18 hours into it or something. He said it's a pretty long Resident Evil which is a good thing.
 
Picked it up for GC a few days ago, but been too busy to get anywhere. I got to the first town with all the worthless villagers, they killed me, and it was time to leave. So I'm a good 5 minutes or so into the game.
 
I was halfway through that game for my second time when my friend took it back from me. Maybe I should just get it for myself. It would be worth it if you play through it like 5 or 6 times to get everything you can.
