Champions of Norrath

Ares

Ares God Of War
Any one have this game? I wanted to get an RPG for ps2 and my friend recommended this. I just wanted to know first hand how it is.

It's more of a hack-and-slash action-rpg. If you ever played Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance or BG: DA 2 for PS2, it's very similar.

I like those kind of games because most of them are multiplayer and I can go through them co-op with my friends.

Personally I think all of them could use some work. Take the difficulty of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, the weapons customization of Dark Alliance 2, and the random dungeons of Champions of Norrath and you have almost the perfect hack-n-slash.

I have played both Champions of Norrath and its sequel, Return to Arms. I like the new characters they added for Return to Arms, but I liked how the original had random dungeon creation. It makes a little different every time you play. Champions of Norrath is also slightly less glitchy than Return to Arms.

Thanks for the info there cause I was looking at this game the other day and was wondering where I could get it. Looks like an interesting game and its online as well which is one of the reason why I want to play it. ;)

yeah, I played it at my friends house over the weekend. We played co-op and it was very fun. Im thinking about getting it.

Good so then you can type up a review or something on it and post it up here.

One thing about hack and slash games is that its gets boring doing the same thing over and over. :-\

thats what I found from playing Dungeon Siege. I loved it at first, but then I got bored of doing the same thing all the time. :-\
