Guys/gals... I have had a lot of complaints about cussing in the chat room again... as well as some other things.

If this doesn't stop (and yes, chat is logged and I have been reading them) I will delete the chat program without question and I will publish the names of the individuals for other members to personally thank you for bringing down the chat room.

Enough said. I am not bringing out names (unless I delete the chat). all I ask for is that the rules of the forums be followed. I don't ask for much. If you can't... you know what to do.

I'm very alarmed by the situation as well and hopefully the cursing in chat will calm down....... *I might have cursed but I'm sorry if I did.*
 
Glad to see you back and in charge BV. I haven't been in chat in forever...minus today. Is everything starting to slow down for you or are you still swamped?

Wow, everyone's afraid to chat now. I went in and it was empty. :'(

I will be a lot stricter on you guys now, but honestly, how hard is it to follow the rules?
 
To be fair, I was asked about it by Boom and I assumed the cussing rule wasn't as strict in chat as on the forum. I didn't notice any flaming going on when I was in there though, but I haven't been around much lately.
 
Just because it scrolls away when more text is entered doesn't mean it isn't logged when it happens. It's still intended to be a feature for use for ALL AGES, and as such, why wouldn't we have to adhere to the policies in place for the boards? :) When people get out of hand on the boards, the mods can go back in and edit it, but what's said in chat stays there for BV to see. Think of him like Santa Claus (lol) he's gonna find out if you're naughty. ;)

I haven't seen much of it myself, but then again I am only in chat a couple times a week, and usually it's when Mai is there so everyone watches themselves. Keep in mind even when a mod is not present that doesn't mean there are no rules! I like chat!!

To be honest, it wouldn't be any different for me because it's so laggy. >_>
I guess I can conform with everybody else. ;)

Well, if you really want to get permanently banned, go for it. That's the consequence if you do it.
 
i couldnt pull off the chat for a whole week cuz my comp pooped out again... once its fixed...it will be done!
