Code Geass Discussion

Plot Spoiler Don't Read unless you have seen up to the second season of Code Geass.
Rollo is Lelouch's fake brother. He has a geass in his right eye that can control the movement of organisms around him in a certain radius. Wait till the end of the fourth episode.

Ok. I'm almost done with the 3rd so I'll see 4th and 5th tomorrow. :)

OMG OMG OMG (never thought i would say omg 3 times in a sentence :lol) BUT THE END OF THE FIRST SEASON IS JUST AWESOME.

last anime this good that kept me on edge was death note but this one is just way better for the fact that the battle scenes are done in a way that looks realistic (with some not real nightmares though) and the strategies used are just ironic, not only that but the series has LOTS of plot unpredictable plot twists.

definetly one of the most exiticing series i've seen ina while

now catch up on the second season, so I have someone to talk about it. It's up to episode 8. Episode 9 doesn't air for 2 weeks =(

@GM:: If you have watched the past few episodes that answers your question a few posts back.

Episode 7 was probably the worst of the second season so far, Lelouch was all emo. Episode 8 has completely made up for that and the way Lelouch/Zero completely beasted the Britannia Army.

gosh i just hope this series doesn't end up like death note
main character dying and not, winning....i want lelouch to win no matter what.
but heck this is why i shouldn't have watched the series so fast XD i watched the whole season 1 in 3 days...is just that the creators of the series know how to leave you hanged at the end of each episode

i think i might have died a little when i saw episode 18 of the R2........... gosh i'm still in shock, that was the least expected thing in all the series

Ok:

You asked why C.C. went with Lelouch instead of Marianne. It's simple, all you have to do is think. First C.C. is following Lelouch, not Marianne. She ended her contract with her when Marianne lost her physical body and she now has a contract with Lelouch.

Next you asked why C.C. went along with Marianne and Charles plans. She necessarily didn't. She could have been led along by Marianne just like she led Lelouch.

Now, the World of C. is quite simple and doesn't need an introduction or explained in the show, it just needs to be carefully connected by you. The World of C is basically the system that contains the memories and powers of C.C. And it is here where Charles planned to use the Ragnarok system on the heavens and god. It would also been called the World of V if V.V. would still be alive.

Was there anything else that needed to be questioned?
C.C. was helping them with their plan about ten seconds before she agreed with Lelouch and long after Marianne died.

She was not lead along by Marianne. She created a contract with her that quite simply said "Let's destroy God", which would have made her death, the single thing that she had been seeking for hundreds of years an impossibility. Tell me, does this make any kind of sense?

I understand what the world of C is now, yes, but there are many other things that need to be questioned.

For example, Charles wanted a world without lies, a world without masks. What did he do to achieve his goal? Put on a mask and hid his true self from Lelouch and Nunally, while simultaneously killing his brother for lying in the exact same manner he did. These actions don't follow anything close to a logical order.

The explanations were confusing, and the character's actions made no sense. They created a twist that is too elaborate and complicated for them to handle.

i think CC is just being indecisive or maybe like i said we are not supposed to know what was she thinking right now, maybe it will be explained in following episodes.

Remember that this show has a lot of paradoxes, example Lelouch started a war to make a peaceful world for Nunally so the same can be said about charles.

true i still question the whys but i think (like i said thousands of times already) that we gotta see what happens in future episodes to truly know what they were thinking, if they don't explain it then i will agree with you

You're wrong, she made a contract with Marianne to "make a world without lies". Never once did she make a contract that said "Let's destroy God". Also, after Marianne's death was when C.C. finally found out what Charles and Marianne's plans, hence the line in the latest episode: "Even though I could communicate with C.C. with my mind she would never agree to follow my orders or come on her own will"(paraphrased). If C.C. was truly in pact with Marianne at the time then she wouldn't have needed Lelouch.

Now about Charles creating a world without lies or masks. This new "world" he would be creating would just be a world without death and war. And with this world all that have died and all that would have died would be alive, hence why Nunally and Euphemia would be resurrected. Having a world where one can't die and where one would never have to fear for wrongdoing, and if Charles did succeed with this plan then all the lies and masks that he put on would be voided.

Cherry since you are the only other one that watches Code Geass weekly watch the new episode first.

hey i watch it weekly now but i just forgot it was sunday XD

i thought you were counting yourself.... but oh well the episode is 10% downloading =D

Code Geass is really starting to slip. These last two episodes have been riddled with inconsistencies and nonsensical plots. I think they were too ambitious and are now starting to collapse under their own weight.

I can agree with the Nunally being alive being confusing but, that's about it from the last two episodes.
