Command & Conquer: The First Decade

I got this game about a week ago. Well, not game in singualar, I should say every C&C game made since 2003, as well as their expansions. From the original C&C to the FPS Renegade to Generals, it's every game.

I couldn't be happier :D
 
I would get it, but I already have most of the games. Only missing C&C Covert Ops, RA Counterstrike, Generals and the expansion.
 
I had most of them prior to buying TFD, but I find being able to install and play them all from one disc convenient enough to warrant a purchase.
 
It's all one disc? That does sound tempting...

Might have to purchase that and let my little cousins play with the other C&C discs. They've been borrowing Tiberian Sun and expansion for a while now, so I'm not even sure I'll see those discs again.

that's exactly why I bought it... it installs EVERYTHING from 1 disc AND from 1 splash screen you access all games & expansions. It was ANNOYING getting Aftermath and the other expansion for Red Alert to work right. Once you installed *I forget the 2nd expansion name)* the 1st one... then the 2nd expansion over it.... it screwed up the 1st expansion.... I've had trouble with that since day 1.... this *I BELIEVE* corrected those problems. But.... all games accessible from 1 launch point = a miracle that I can't believe other games like this haven't taken advantage of. It's PC-DVD.... but expect it to take a bit to install.. granted I have a 48x DVD drive... and a 2.4 ghz computer... but it took awhile and 9.8 gig to install all games.... so fair warning :)

I just bought it last night. IMO it's worth the $40 just in convenience alone. :lol If you get it... let me know! We can all get together and play.

Well, I've had a few annoying crashes with some of the older games, namely the original and Tiberian Sun...
 
Only problems I've had is Renegade usually crashes my computer when I exit out of it (runs fine otherwise), and Yuri's Revenge sometimes loads REALLY slow.
 
ok... I have run into a few problems... not with playing the game so much... but features not working.

#1 I cannot do a lot online with red alert 2, the original C&C, and a couple of the other games.
I can get online ok with generals and renegade... haven't tried tiberian sun.

#2 Where the heck are all the CD audio tracks for the missions? Only 3 are available to me in Command and Conquer Red Alert....... I remember there being tons. OR is that just in normal missions.. the amount of tracks are limited?

Since WHEN did the original command and conquer have Internet play? This relates to problem #1.... I tried using it... but it says I need to have Internet access and a Planet Westwood account. I click register... and it just takes me back to the main menu like cancel would. Also, going to multiplayer then network doesn't work either... that just takes me back to the main menu. Things like this are just weird with the game as they don't seem to work right.

Yea, sadly some of the stuff got screwed up, but that's what you can always count on EA for ::)

I haven't completed one of the Tiberian Sun NOD missions, because I keep getting an error whenever I get ready to attack the opponents base.

The original just froze up on me once.
