I wish you two, the very best on this extra special unique day. You two mean the world to me and I wanted to say the right words for you. Yet I fail at the proper words, but I know a picture is worth a thousand words. So I found a song that describes your love to each other. You're so beautiful together is what I'm trying to say. :) I'd give anything to be there at your side to see this momentous occasion. I just want to extrapolate, if anyone is wondering what's going on here.

Feb 1st is the 9th anniversary of Joyling and myself. ^_^

We are also having a faux wedding today. I say faux because gay marriage is not actually legal in California, but we're having a ceremony anyway. We've got rings and everything! :D

It's definitely a nerd wedding, though. Joy and I are cosplaying as the two Bleach characters in the picture that Mega posted (although in different costumes), and many of our friends are also cosplaying. Then, for the "reception" we're going to an arcade.

We had actually set the date last May, not knowing it would be the same day as the Super Bowl. Luckily, most of our friends aren't into football so it all works out.

I'll be sure to post pictures. ^_^

I tell ya Mish, that Bleach pic was a pain to find. I had to hire a special artist from Arlington, TX, who happens to be an old friend of mine to get it JUST right. Yet, I hope you like the red carpet treatment ^_^
 
Congratulations!!! Even though it's a faux wedding it matters not. As long as it's real in your hearts, your wedding stands true.

Play Love Love Shine on one of the rounds of DDR for me!
