More space on the disc, okay, but all it's being used for is graphics, not the length or awesomeness of the game.

Personaly I wouldn't buy the PS3 my philosphy is you get what you pay meaning if your paying $600 for something using blu-ray player when they retail over $6,000 that causes me to have no confidince the product there making.

If a standard DVD can hold a game as huge as Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the 360, how much of a difference is the extra space on a blu-ray really going to make?

sony is more concerned with what televisions support the playstation 3 than making good games for it.

Hinesmdc  it's more like Sony wants to create a multimedia device to control all aspects of your entertainment and slapped Playstation label on it so it would sell better.

I was trying to help but I guess it depends on your view me I don't like my stuff being combined like that  I just want DVD player  and console and not in the same machine the more merge your stuff into one decieve the more expensive it is when something breaks.  The PS3 is way to expensive for my taste heck I just finaly broke down last year and got a PS2.

Can You Talk Me Into Buying A PS3?

So, the PS3 is the only new system I don't have. I don't care that it has Blu Ray, I already have that covered. So give me an idea of some good exclusive game that make the PS3 worth owning. GT5 is the only game I know of so far, if it ever comes out.

Hmm.........

That's a lot of games. Certainly worth trying out. I guess I'll wait until March when GT5 comes out and pick one up.
