Well this has been a gaming week for me! Since Saturday I have bought Spectrobes on Saturday, TMNT on Tuesday and Finally Cooking Mama Today. So Cooking Mama, might ring a bell for some of you. Cooking Mama for the DS came out last fall and was a very cool game. At first I was reluctant to try it, but once my friend bought the game and I tries it I enjoyed it. By Friday all of my friends bought the game. The game was pretty addicting and I really like the game because of its controls and out of the box game style. It was unlike any game I have played before! So needles to say when I found out it was coming to the Wii I got very excited. Finally today I got the game.
Cooking Mama: Cook Off is a very cool game. The game is not a port of the original, however there are a couple repeat dishes. First of all I must say that I really enjoy the controls of this game. They are very hands on, and make you feel like you are actually cooking. This time the game has dishes from all over the world. It has a multilayer which is a very nice addition, and you can also battle chefs from 10 country's! The game is a very nice addition to the series, and I really enjoy it.
I give it a 8/10 only because I dont really care for the voice that they game the characters, and unless playing on a huge tv the multiplayer can be a little difficult to play. But overally this is a good game. If you liked the first one, you will really like Cooking Mama: Cook Off!
