Here are alot of facts that i got out of some magazines :D.

-The honeysucker is the only bird that can fly backwards.

-Lionesses like their males to be deep brunettes.

-Eagles can't hunt when it's raining.

-At full speed, a cheetah takes strides of eight meters.

-Until 1997, there were more pigs than people in Denmark.

-The openings to caves where bears hibernate are always on the north slope of a hill.

-It's illegal to tie a crocodile to a fire hydrant in Detroit, US (why would you do that any way :-X).

-Although previously though as mute, recent research has suggested that giraffes communicate at an infrasound level.

-Forty fireflies trapped in a jar will provide enough light for you to read from.

-The taipan snake is 180 times more venomous than the king cobra.

-Elephants flap there ears to cool down.

-Dolphins can produce notes 100 times higher than a human soprano.

-Mosquitoes carry more than one hundred potentially fatal diseases.

-The only whale with a throat wide enough to swallow a person is a sperm whale.

I think I remember hearing about that, and thought it was a bit silly. What was the reason for that, anyway?

That's a relief! I will try not to be afraid of them any more. But they're really scary.... :'(

I have some facts about sharks. Most are probably well-known, but what the heck. I'll post them anyway. :D

Sharks skeletons are made out of cartilage.

A shark's skin is made of the same material that teeth are made of; that's why it feels like sandpaper. ^_^

I got a few little facts about great whites

They can grow up to 21 feet
People who have gotten attacked by great whites and survived have said it is like being hit by a car.
