COUNTDOWN TO JAPAN

Mega, have you seen what Japan looks like? I can already agree. Exercise is healthy. :lol

Only in pictures and my broken dreams :D. I walk everyday at work on concrete with a 104 degree heat index weather for the past 2 months now. Before that it was windy days, rainy days, and snow days. I'm not in shape but I firmly believe that after 7 months it cannot help loose weight on just exercise alone. What's missing from my scene? Proper diet. Yet, it's hard to have a solid diet when I work myself to death and my body is drained to the core after 8.5 or 6.5 hours of work per day.

This. Some really beautiful forests over there!

And Mega, there is always a way. If there's a will there is a way. The best thing is to cook healthy meals ahead of time. This has saved me countless times!

I'll figure it out someday. Well, back on topic. GM, I really wish I could see how excited you are. I'm assuming, like Stealth claims. That the people are friendly and what awaits you will be awesome beyond compare.

Chopsticks aren't hard to use. :lol I eat sushi at my college anyways so I guess I'm used to it. Would like to go to a Japanese restaurant and try stuff like Sashimi.

My dad said the food in Japan is the hardest thing to get used to. That and using chopsticks lol.

I agree.

It's not even the taste most of the time, it's the texture. Everything is squishy, slimy, slippery, and cold. If you order eggs make sure you specify you like them hot. It can be really off-putting at times. I ate a meal recently that has forever ruined tofu for me (not that I liked it much to begin with).

But some people really dig it, so, いただけます.

I wonder where GM is right now? Still in transit, or in Japan perhaps?

I <3 Japanese Food here. It's so great. The BX here on base has two stories! :o I've never seen a BX that big. I love Kadena AB, it's amazing. Sadly, there are no game stores or anything like that on Okinawa for English speakers! :(

But wait! Get this, my father came to me one day, proposing an idea to actually invest in buying some video games and selling them. A used/trade in video game sort of thing to do on the weekends which makes me excited. Who knows, it could work. We have 25 Xbox games already to sell and we think it's possible.

Anyways, Japanese TV is just weird to any one that doesn't understand Japanese. I got to watch some anime here and there but not often. And House only comes on once a week on the AFN channels! WTH? Still, Japan is great but seriously hot and humid but I'm loving it.

Remember GM, American Video games will sell for wonders in Japan! Plus, the PS3 does not have region lock when it comes to Japanese games! ^_^
