the 360 WIRED controller has the same connector tip as the original Xbox controller...can they be switched? I ask this because there's a nice digital pad for Xbox 1 I wanna purchase and I just dont know if anyone has tried it out

My wired controller has a usb connector tip, i thought they were all like this

I think he means how the quick-connect portion is the same on both controllers. Swap the original Xbox portion for the USB part.

I doubt it would work, but it's worth a shot. I would recommend trying with an Xbox controller you don't have to purchase, save the money in case it doesn't work.
