Deadly Creatures - Play a scorpion or tarantula!

February 14, 2008 - Publisher THQ on Thursday announced Deadly Creatures, an original game developed exclusively for Wii by proven software house Rainbow Studios. The game thrusts players into the roles of both an armored scorpion and a stealthy tarantula as they battle through a desert wasteland in a fight for survival. The unlikely duo will face off against Gila monsters, lizards, tarantula wasps, black widows and, worst of all, man.

I really can't see myself playing this (arachnophobia, anyone?), but apparently it's creating some buzz.

As soon as i herd you can play as a Armored Scorpion or a Tarantula I'm like I'm getting this.

Sounds like my kind of game

Really? I know game testers get random games so that's cool that you know this beforehand..

This game doesn't look that great to me. All it really did was explain the circle of life. :lol

Did you by chance play the Lion King for the SNES or Genesis? Yeah, that's what happens.

Well, since I'm a Nintendo Compliance Specialist I get to know these things beforehand. You're right though regular testers normally don't.

I've heard the graphics are actually some of the best on the Wii.

Will do. From what I've seen it's pretty good graphic wise. Still needs some optimization though since it's early.
