DEAR GOD NO!!!! Bungie leave Halo?....

RTS's fit Halo because Halo was an RTS. As for the movie, it was canceled until someone picks it up.

Though so. Darn, too bad too. I rekon (though maybe crap) a Halo movie would have been rather awsome. So long as they follow the story line in he books that is.

Plus, why wouldn't Bill Gates fund another? Does he have too much money?
plus I cannot imagine this game doesn't line the pockets over everyone that has their hands in it.

IT's almost like Nintendo saying no more mario... and Sega says no more sonic :lol (almost... not quite).

BV :hat

Bungie has no plans to make any game for another console. They're just leaving the possibility open. Of course it will only take a matter of time before they branch off to other systems, but I believe their best stuff will be on the Xbox/Xbox 360.

well even if they do make a movie, it needs to be full of action while telling a story at the same time, but is that really possible without it bein like 2 hours long?

...Without it being two hours long? You do realize that's a pretty average movie length, right? Hell, according to my sister, Alvin and the Chipmunks(*holds up cross*) is two and a half hours [of suffering].

A four movie has been done once.... Godzilla... trhen again, it may not have been 4 hours. i guess after watching it twice, it just seems that long, especially on Free To Air TV........... so many comercials...... so much time wasted sitting in my room being bored....... AND I RAN OUT OF CHERIOS.. anyway, point is. I doubt they'd makea Halo Movie longer than 2 hours. Though they could do that, since the story (following the books) is very long! Lets hope (if they do it) they don't screw it up.

And Fhq.... I feel your anguish about the Chipmunks movie...

When did you hear that? I'm a little behind on my gaming news but last I heard Bungie is no longer first party with Microsoft, doesn't mean they've quit or left Halo. It just means they're not forced to make Halo games anymore and can focus on other systems as well. To tell you the truth I'm glad, I'm tired of short repetitive Halo games. Now that Bungie is free to do whatever they want there will be actual quality in there products, not just hype. Finally we'll be able to get our money's worth and the developers at Bungie will be happy. Happier developers better games, as for the Halo series well now other companies can bring some new ideas to the series. No matter how big of a fan you are you must admit the Halo formula is getting old, with this new RTS Halo coming up I'm sure more developers will take on the game and make Halo a much better series.

I don't think the Halo formula's getting old. That's just me though. :)

The facts that you have about Bungie though are correct. However, they have stated that they have no current intention to make games on other systems. It'll only be a matter of time though.
