Detroit Tigers Baseball....something phenominal.

Ok so on June 12th, something special happened about 20 miles away from my home. In little old Comerica Park, a 2nd year player by the name of Justin Verlander managed to pitch a no-hitter! ONLY IN HIS SECOND YEAR! Schilling's never even done it. With a couple amazing defensive plays, the no-hitter was sealed. I've never seen fans go so crazy in my life. It was like we won the World Series or something! So at work yesterday, I find out one of my bosses got tickets for the game. I asked her if I could have a ticket stub and I am now holding a piece of history! This oughta be worth money down the road. :D

Eh, I doubt it'll be worth money. What could be worth money is the ball that I got handed to me by the players in the dugout after a game on September 11th(yes, very happy day), 1999, which was also a shut out.

Right now I have a $200 offer for it. I'm holding onto it for a while though. No hitters are once in a lifetime honors for a pitcher.

That game just happened to be the first baseball game one of my friends has been to. The pastor at his church even bought his ticket so he didn't have to pay.
