it's just menus and is pretty much generic medieval style so it shouldn't affect the overall gameplay

Rapidshare has a leaked Diablo 3 demo if you're interested. :-* Use a Megaupload search engine to find the address. The ninjas will disable my account if I dare to post the link. :D

Dude, I hope they use Mainconcept H264 (owned by DivX Inc.) for FMV. They use DivX for all their FMV since Warcraft 3. However, Diablo 2 used Bink Video.
