Nippon Ichi announced a new Disgaea title will be heading to PS3 before the end of the fiscal year in Japan, details will be revealed at Tokyo Game Show.

i'll wait and see how this title goes... but so far none of the disgaea games has managed to hold my interest... and right now there are so many of them i don't even know where to begin....right now my SRPG heart belongs to fire emblem and advance wars because to me those series are more complex and entertaining..

Yeah, I guess it's a matter of taste. To me, neither of those series can hold a candle to Disgaea. But that's because I like the over the top humor and lightheartedness of the Disgaea series.

se i played makai kingdom and i loved the over the top humor and light heartedness it is just the gameplay that i could not stand(of disgaea, makai kingdom was ok)... i guess i should try out disgaea infinite if that's the case. but if i were to give the series another try where should i begin? or does the series not have a continuing storyline

It's not for everyone like I said. It has a unique game play style, and if you don't like it, I'm doubting you ever will. It's just more of the same. I'd start with 3 though if I were you. Characters are different in each one, but characters from previous ones will make cameos and can even become playable characters.

ok then, this is one SRPG series i won't be trying out until it is like $15 on a sale I guess....I just gotta wait for the next fire emblem
 
ive only played disgaea 2 and that game was amazing. just got a ps3 so i got my sights aimed on 3.
 
I dont think anyone added that it is coming out here in Summer 2011, but of course you already knew that if you get the Prinny Bomb.

The HD trailer on the JPN site is pretty awesome, Ill probably watch it again. Disgaea 3 Ive sunk over 180 hours on, I still need to play it some more to finish doing everything. Disgaea 4 is the most amazing thing, lol.
