as some of you might remember I used to be a huge Dispatch fan and never got to go to their last concert "Hatch Shell".
It turns out that they are playing a charity concert July 13, 14, and 15 and MSG in NYC and I got tickets.
They sold out within a half hour and I really lucked out.

Im so pumped. Anyone at least ever hear of dispatch?
 
Yeah, I have heard of them. But I've never made my way to listening to them, I assume they're good though. Any band that sells out within 30 minutes has got to be good.

well the cool thing is that they are an independent band.

they are the first independent band to ever headline at MSG and sell out.

not once, but three shows in a row.

pretty impressive. i cant wait to go.

Well they arent for everyone.

they play alternative/reggae/rock.

they're a jam band.

anyways, you dont know how pumped I was when I found out I had a chance to see them (since i missed going to their last concert) in the big city with my best friend.

the only thing that could make it better was if it was The Rolling Stones, but hey.... haha
 
Well of course, The Rolling Stones are awesome. Keith Richards is one of my favorite people of all time. Alternative reggae rock? That's an odd combination, never heard of such genre.
 
yeah The Stones are my fav band of all time.
Keith is the man.


They play a lot of different stuff. Some songs are Reggae. Some are Alternative. Some they rap to acoustic guitar.
haha tough to explain.
