do any of the rogue helpers in D2.....

No, they do not unless you give them special armor that allows an aura, for example, the bramble runeword armor gives a thorns aura to anyone, including rogue mercs. The only mercs that have their own auras are the act II desert assassins that you can hire in Leut Golain.

hey.... I actually like to use them.

My last one was around level 64-68.... and did she EVER kick butt.... many places, I could just sit around and she would whoop all butt for me.
