Re: Do you like Scarry Games?

hehe i do, i don't really get scared by games. The most it will do is prob make me jump if im not expecting it lol

Re: Do you like Scarry Games?

Well I don't know about "scarry" games, but I love SCARY games :lol :lol :lol

I don't really get scared by games or movies at all. I like to play Resident Evil games though because there's always a feeling of caution when you're playing them. Resident Evil for the Gamecube actually creeps me out more then any other game, for some reason. I think it's because the graphicial detail is so good...or maybe it's the voice acting.

Re: Do you like Scarry Games?

Doom III didn't scare me, it was just the usual, expected jump from the zombies popping out in the places that you expected them to. No games that actually scared me though. Same with movies. Only movie that actually freaked me out was Scream, but I was also like 8 years old... :p

Re: Do you like Scarry Games?

those really arn't that scary of games, the ones that get me are like Fatal Frame 2, for me that just really creep me out. But i'm a more jumpy persion also and expect more crazy bad things to happen which make me freak out easyier. it's wierd tho, gunning up monsturs is no problem but take me into that dark forest, creppy voice and wierd images type of thing and it really gets to me.

but i'm the person that thinks someone is watching me...

The only thing that really scared me (other than the large group of drunk people in their trucks that chased me down) was at camp one year. We were laying on the picnic tables in the pavilion cause our tents sucked, and the one kid's like "Wouldn't it freak you out if you were walking alone down teh road, and walked past a graveyard, and saw a little girl in a white dress dancing in a circle around a grave slowly singing 'Ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies...'" and he kept singing it in the middle of the night (more like 2 in the morning, but still) and it was just freaky thinking about it.

Heh...I'd say the only game that really had me scared and made me want to stop playing was Silent Hill. That's the only game that was all dark and you had a flashlight and all you could only see is what was in front of you. Makes you even scared when you think about it.

I know that Silent Hill 4: The Room is freaking confusing when you start playing. The graphics are just goregous!

First game that ever scared me was the first resident evil game because I didn’t know what I was doing at first until these two dogs jumped out of the window, which mean me, jumps 2 metres into the air lol! O.O''

For some reason none of the RE games made me just except RE3. The part where your going up the stairs in the S.T.A.R.S building and Nemesis jumps through the window. That was totally unexpected!

I'm betting RE4 won't be scary and will be more action oriented.

Yeah, actually that's what I'm hoping for. I couldn't play Eternal Darkness because I am a wimp and it creeped me out too much. Same thing with the Silent Hill and Fatal Frame games. I played Resident Evil Zero briefly and it was something I could handle.

I think the "scare factor" fo RE4 isn't goin to be "I wonder what's around the corner" like in traditional RE games, but more the feeling that you're being overwhelmed by a bunch of... things... that want to cause you harm. More frantic I guess you could say...

Either way, I love games that creep me out. ED was scary because of the story, and RE is just a personal favorite of mine, other than that I haven't really played any games that scared me. Killing stuff in Doom 3 was too much fun to be scary, and I thought the Silent Hill games were kind of boring. They had some bone chilling images and ideas, but nothing really freaked me out in those games. The new one has promise though, so I'll check it out if I can.

I think if you have House of the Dead III for XBOX that you can unlock 1 and 2. But it may only be that you can unlock II. I don't really know for sure.

I love the House of the Dead games. They're not really scary though. Mostly just cheesy. :D

That's one of the easiest games I've played in the arcade! I beat the game first time I played it and didn't continue not even once. :-\
