DOOM 3 Ressurection of Evil for Xbox

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
This expansion pak on Xbox has the exact same features as the PC add-on has, except...the Xbox verison has three bonuses

Ultimate DOOM
DOOM 2
(Sure they are on the Collector's edition, but just in case you missed out)

and third....

DOOM 2 MASTER LEVELS!

Why is this important? If you've played DOOM 2 alot, wait until you see 'MASTER LEVELS"...which contains an ungodly amount of levels....for example, the original PC game has nearly 1200 levels....each level was designed by fans and the original creators of DOOM 2. These levels did not make it to the final cut of DOOM 2, because they were considered "Too Hard".... ::D Yet speaking from experience, these levels are the most vile, vicious creations ever made from ID Software's history...

Ummm, no, I highly doubt it. Expansions just don't work that way on consoles. Halo 2 wasn't an expansion, per se, it merely added a few new maps for multiplayer only.

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil makes its way to the Xbox as a stand-alone extension of the Doom 3 saga, and will include all-new levels, beasts and powerful weapons.

I hope console expansions stay this way...otherwise it would suck.

All this time I thought they were like PC expansions since I also thought that you needed the HD anyways for it. :-\ Guess not.

Nope, every expansion I can think of does not require the original game (for the Xbox that is). The Multiplayer Map Pack was just that, a map pack, not an expansion pack.
