Though I'm enjoying the game and the story, I'm having a lot of trouble with glitches with regards to fighting that have almost made me give up on it. :(

Main issue is my characters just freezing like statues and hanging WAY back regardless of my settings. Sometimes the enemies will freeze too (the few Qunari ones I've come across, especially), but not as often as my characters. I've played with their tactics and behaviors extensively, and changing my parties around; but, nothing helps. For example, Aveline will just stand there being attacked even when I lead enemies to back to her, and my mages will show actions flashing back and forth almost too fast too see, but without ever executing them (area of effect spells seem to be a particular issue). Sometimes everything works ok, and when it does, wipe everything easily as I'm having to play on casual; a mature dragon went down very quickly when my party was working for that battle. My ranged rogue can usually hold her own and finish fights when they don't work, but as a result, going through injury kits like candy for my other characters since they stand there and get killed so often. Never had these problems with DA:O; loved setting up and playing with tactics and strategy.

Last night I almost threw the controller in frustration because of the Ancient Rock Wraith fight combined with this. I finally did it, but it required an absurd amount of micromanaging and all my potions. The battle was far more difficult than anything in DA:O. Though I know it is a tough battle even without glitches, and it seemed an incredibly poor decision to "trap" you in an area with no way to grind or buy before a boss battle like that.

i love the game and storyline as well. not really experiencing any glitches though :D
