Drawn to Life

I heard that the actual drawing a character is great, but the actual game itself is subpar/par.
 
Im gonna get it i only have 2 games a Pokemon game and that Nintendogs both im considering selling.
 
Is it true that the game sort of "helps" you draw, so your character turns out better than it normally would on a touch screen? I'd heard rumors about this... and when I say "helps", I mean things like straightening lines, adding shading, and things like that.
 
Straightening lines would hinder more, wouldn't it? It might be an option, but I'm not really sure.

Rest assured, it doesn't.
 
I think this is a great concept of a game personally, but hopefully it all works out as of making a better game than it sounds. :-\
