I don't think there are many emo fans here, dude.I don't like to increase my chances of commiting suicide or slitting my wrist,so I tend to avoid emo

I understand you're joking but let's keep these comments to a minimum of zero. People have been banned for this and we won't have this happen again.

@HxC emo: Ill try to check 'em out when I have a chance.

too bad their a hardcore metal band<< meaning far from emo...

there is actually a song called fashion your seatbelt? :huh

Now... I've grown up listening to rock, metal, death metal... and I've heard some odd titles...

†B†V† :hat

I've got a couple friends who are part of the emo scene, but I will never understand it. "Two-step fox trots" and "reaching for change" are some of the funniest/stupidest things I've ever seen done at a concert before. Gimme a good ol' fashioned moshpit any day.

well that basically is a moshpit... just slightly more dangerous. and yeah their metal.

see you guys have to take in the fact that metal isn't going to sound the same all the time, it expands and produces different types of sounds over the years.

i just had a conversation about this with some kid who's obsessed with Dimebag Darrell.

From what I saw of the videos, I wouldn't say they are metal either, but as maiden fan said more hardcore/screamo. It might be an ever expanding genre but it contains it structure just like everything else and I really don't see any similarities at all in the song structure. The closest I can pick it is the sort of melodic parts, which would be closest to melodic death, but I think screamo actually covers it better than that.
