someone cant honestly say the psp is better with a straight face

I can, actually, and quite easily at that. The DS is alright, backwards compatibility helps it out a lot, but in all honesty if it wasn't for Advance Wars, I'd have purchased a PSP. As I said awhile back in the "gaming confessions" thread, my DS is basically a $150 alarm clock. :P

DS, it's not even close. I could hate Nintendo (which I don't) and would still have to admit that the DS has way more top quality games. It's also more durable and controls WAY better, just as a side note.

I go back and forth.

PSP has horrible battery life and a lackluster game library, but the games it does have that I like (the Tales games) are worth it to me.

The DS has much better battery life and way more games available for it, but.....it needs a good Tales game. :p

However if you're not a fan of Tales, it's probably the DS without a doubt.

Also, why no "Both" option? If you can afford it, that's what I would recommend.

to me, an amazing handheld puzzler can make a system

both these systems offer an amazing one, lumines for psp, and meteos for ds

and since meteos is my number 4 game of all time

DS!

The PSP is very popular among those who use emulators.

They do keep coming out with patches for it though, so anytime you update any of your PSP software over wifi, you're screwed. That is unless of course you constantly hack the bejeebus out of it, but that would be wrong.

And as Hines pointed out, we're not really to discuss emulators and the like here. It's not a big deal, but certainly don't post any links to emulation sites, nor should you talk about how to acquire them and all that.

Yes, I do know that. :lol I don't use emulators and I don't believe in using them, either.

But it's certainly true that a lot of PSP owners don't even play PSP games. That's all I was pointing out. :)
