Poo! My screen is all scratched up! 
My top screen is awesome, but I did not have any screen protectoer on the bottom, and later I got a screen protecter but I hated it, so I did not use it.

I don't like the button layout of the original DS.
The DS lite feels too flimsy to me.
I really don't think either design is optimal.

the ds lite has jaggeed edges that hurt your hands a lot. but the screens more than make up for it.
