Yeah, all you did was put Need for Speed up with the awesomeness(if only for the name) that was Pole Position.
 
Need for Speed : Carbon was up 5 times and Pole Position once.(<~~ Notice something?) I thought both were good. :/
 
Hmm. It would help to look at the subtitles of the games, wouldn't it...
 
I liked both games, but I don't get why people hate on the Need for Speed games!

Anyway, to get back on topic. I am personally NOT a fan of Forza or Gran Turismo. But I don't know if they are the dumbest racing games...they are just not to my tastes. I know for many people they are some of the best racing games out there.

Yeah, two of my favorites. Then again, I'm more of a fan of the simulation type games. One exception would be any Mario Kart game.
 
I realized after I edited the poll that I forgot to put Project Gotham Racing. I actually kind of like that series. It's a little more arcadey than realistic. That's the kind of racing game I like.

That's how I feel too. I'm not a big fan of "real" feeling racing games.
 
SRS was an incredibly stupid racing game that was built around acquiring car parts and women. Seriously.

I actually really like the Need for Speed series. Well, perhaps liked is the appropriate tense. Hot Pursuit was probably one of the best racing games, ever. Now that EA is taking the series and bastardizing it to look more and more like The Fast and the Furious the new NFS games aren't really NFS games at all.

Agreed. It's all about teh extreme drifting now, lol.

I personally like the realistic driving games like Gran Turismo the best. I really like the Toca series and Rallisport challenge series for Xbox as well. For not so serious fun I loved Rush 2 on N64 and of course the MK series.
