Here are some new screens of Nintendo's Mario Kart DS for Nintendo DS.

The acclaimed Mario Kart series has gone wireless! Race and battle with up to eight karts at once, regardless of whether or not everyone has a Game Card. The all-star cast includes Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario, Bowser, and Toad.

With courses drawn from every Mario Kart game - Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash - players may tour many of their favorites as well as all-new tracks and battle arenas. The game has a new dimension of fun, since players can battle others around the world by connecting to Nintendo’s new wireless gaming service, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, via Wi-Fi.

With over 30 courses and all the crazy items and frantic speed players would expect, this game is a Mario Kart fan’s dream!

I played about 8 DS games at E3 and enjoyed all of them. Nintendogs was really cute and had a huge line the whole time.

Mario Kart DS was also really great though. They had it set up for multiplayer matches. My friends and I went back to that a lot. I must have played it like 5 or 6 times. One of my friends played even more. He actually came in first once and won a Yoshi remote control go-kart.

I was very impressed with many of the DS games. They all made good use of the system's capabilities.

ic i don't really like that kind because i don't like the fact that you have to have somone play with you because i like to play it by my self

Well hopefully with DS's future LAN project in September, I don't think finding another person to play will not be a problem.

I'm in the dark about it too, starting to learn about it as well

http://www.egameaddiction.com/forums/index.php?topic=2377.0 <-- here's the info about the LAN Network plans

Starry pretty much hit it on the nail, unless Nintendo comes up with another way to do this with a type of software

Oh, you can still play Four Swords Adventures by yourself. It's still awesome that way, too. You just control all four Links.

But it's kind of like....when you play Super Smash Bros. Melee, you can set all three opponents to computer, but it's more fun to play with three other real people in the room with you. That's what Four Swords Adventure is like. It's just more fun with other people. More competitive, I suppose. But there's also cooperation.
