It's a little disappointing to see what little they announced. However, there are a few important things to keep in mind.

1 - E3 is not over yet. They could still surprise us.

2 - Just because games weren't announced doesn't mean they aren't being made. They don't have all day to have a press conference, so they had to pick and choose what they showed. Maybe they didn't make the best decisions, but that doesn't mean they don't have anything else. They went with the more casual stuff because E3 is heavily covered and Wii Fit will get out to more people that way. Do you really think EGM or Game Informer or even Nintendo Power will cover it? Probably not. However, those publications, in addition to GameSpot, IGN, and 1Up will cover the games that hardcore gamers want to play. So even though we didn't get what we wanted from the press conference, it's out there somewhere.

Just because they haven't shown everything does not mean that it still can't be disappointing. How am I supposed to get excited over something I don't know? I can't, so I can only go by what they give us, and what they gave us sucked. In my opinion of course. I want to be positive but it's hard, especially with what Nintendo displayed.

Im sure there is plenty of stuff Nintendo is working on and probably won't release until TGS but as far as right now at this moment, it's disappointing.

That's true.

I'm just hoping they will show more stuff during the week, since E3 isn't over yet. If nothing else, we might just have to stay disappointed until TGS, although technically with games like Metroid, SSBM, and Galaxies, I don't know why a Nintendo fan would be that disappointed. Three really big franchises in the span of four months isn't really bad.

Nintendo hasn't had an E3 this disappointing since multiplayer Pac-man was the headliner of their E3 showing...

It's too bad they haven't really showed any "real" games. As someone else mentioned earlier, the highlight seems to be another gimmicky mini-game-o-rama, Wii Fit. Wii Sports was a good game but only because it pointed out the potential of the system. If the Wii Sports style of game is the potential of the system, it is definitely disappointing.

Also, it comes as no surprise that Nintendo tended to focus on showing a bunch of fiscal charts to show what a great business they are. Displaying profit margins is a good way of distracting people from acknowledging the fact that they really have few games to look forward to in the foreseeable future. Apparently showing a large stack of money in a vault somewhere somehow makes up for their inadequacies. :lol
