I got the game today. Im so excited. Its so cool so far. I have played it for pc but never got very far. Anyways I was wondering what character I should take. Right now Im stuck in between a Imperial (Fighter) or Dark Elf (Thief). Any thoughts would be appreciated.
 
i watched my friend play tht for like an hour and it made me want to kill myself but then i went and bought it and uts pretty cool i played as dark elf.

How far are you in the game? I havent played in a while, i think im in Hla Oad. I made a Imperial. I wanted Dark Elf but changed my mind.
 
Glad to see you're enjoying it! I am about 300 hours into the game but I still have stuff to do before I beat it. I use a Nord but my skills are mainly magic and stealth skills. I wear pretty much light or heavy armor and I use long and short swords that I enchant myself.
 
I played a catshi... Khajit thief and beat all the Thief Guild quests and just walked around having fun. It's a great game, but can be quite boring at times. Since you can do anything you want, you don't have to do anything. I'm considering getting a XBox360 just to get Oblivion.
 
I thought about it, but then I need to upgrade it. It's easier to get the XBox360 and just insert the disc. Plus it gives me an excuse to get the xbox in the first place, so either way I win. :D

Im just gonna get it for the pc. I cant wait to see how it is....
 
So how long does it take to beat this game if you go all out and try as fast as you can?

I'm not gonna do that..lol but I've heard so many people that have been on it for like 70-200 hours
 
Going as fast as you can and doing strictly what you need to do I still think it would be around 200 hours. I've actually never known anybody who has done everything you can do in this game. Like I said I'm about 300 hours in and I still havn't been to Mournhold yet, and I've barely explored Solstheim.
 
well its the opposite for me, I feel that there is no point in playing cause i know i will never beat it... haha
The game is so huge that it makes it boring for me... I dont know...
But i definitely do like this game.
 
I beet all the guild quests and been to mournhold but i havent started the main quests. so far the game rocks. My character is a dark elf assasin lvl 31
 
If you stick strictly to the MQ and do nothing else it will take you about 70 hours, that is if you dont get bored with your character and decide to restart the whole game just to change it, or if you do none of the guild quest/explore/just sit around and re-arrange all the loot you currently have in your house. Anyway if you dont do all that then yeah about 70hrs, but you probably wont finish anyway seeing as with those low stats youll have youll die once you hit mournhold or solstheim.
