You know what I just found out that kind of sucks?
On my file I had already done Knights of Nine, which is basically a goody-goody quest. You can't get any infamy or you have to do it over. Well I already finished it. I got all the armor and weapons and whatnot, and defeated the boss of that particular quest.
So, I join the Thieves guild, because I hadn't done that yet. And when I got infamy, I was unable to use the Knights of the Nine armor. I was totally surprised. I didn't think that it would do that if you had already finished the quest.
And I haven't even started on the Dark Brotherhood, either. So I'm thinking that my best bet is to finish Thieves' Guild and the Dark Brotherhood and then redo the Knights of the Nine quest.

Man, now I have to do Kot9 AFTER the Dark Brotherhood. At least I will have something to repent I guess. Oh wait, does it actually REMOVE all your infamy when you do Kot9? Because I really like mine, I am proud of being a big bastich King of Thieves with a lot of infamy. Also if I am in the middle of Kot9, and put on the Gray Cowl, will it make me have to do the pilgrimage over again? The infamy gain is temporary and resets once you take the cowl off, but you can still get thrown in jail after you take it off while being chased by the guards. :?

I finished the Thieves' Guild. It was actually pretty easy with a maxed out Sneak and 50% chameleon.
I had a weird sense of deju vu doing the last part though. Like I had already done all of it even though I am pretty sure that I had never done the Thieves' Guild before. Maybe it was just because I watched someone else do it.
