Elder Scrolls Type Game?

Hey, I'm new to ps2 and I'm wondering what's the closest thing ps2 has to the Elder Scrolls series. I mean with an open-ended style & possibly the fps/rpg combination. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're wanting some sort of live action RPG, I can only think of Kingdom Hearts/KH2. Although I'm not much of a Sony gamer, so you might want to wait for some PS2'ers to post. :) Welcome to the boards!
 
Sadly, there really isn't anything like Morrowind on PS2. It till has tons of great games though, but you have a lot of catching up to do since you're new to ps2. I'd recommend browsing the ps2 section of Gamespot.com just to get a starting point. Good luck, have fun, and welcome to the boards :)
