So, you drive an ambulance, and on the way, you run about 20 people over. But hey, that one choking old man was worth it. He died a week later from old age, i bet.

Is it a good game for newbies looking to get in on the action? And does it have port discount?
 
It's a solid game for newbies and veterans, yes. It's basically a remake of the first TR game, only minus the horrendous camera angles and some new areas to explore.
 
oh sorry....i just got them and i thought they were awesome and i didnt know what you were discussing

Tomb Raider pretty much is a port. An updated port, but not one worth $50.
