Special Agent Fox Mulder: FBI
I looked, didn't see a topic like this, so I thought I'd start one.

Mine is hands down the short story At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft. Best piece of sci-fi/horror literature ever concieved, and his writing style is such that if every book were written like he writes I would read 100 times more than I do.

Darn auto-censor... It isn't Philip K. Richard (last name rhymes with Mick)

He wrote stories like Minority Report, Total Recall, and A Scanner Darkly.

The Vampire Chronicles (Anne Rice)

All of the Kay Scarpetta books (Patricia Cornwell)

Harry Potter series (J.K. Rowling)

Narnia series (C.S. Lewis)

His Dark Materials trilogy (Phillip Pullman)

The Halo books (different authors)

Ah, I forgot about Stephen King! Night Shift is an incredible collection.

I also loved the Halo novels and the New Jedi Order series of books.

Anyone ever read the Dark Tower series? I downloaded it on audio book. 1st, 2nd, 3rd books are great, 4th book made me appreciate the suffering of those in foreign countries, 5th book was good, 6th was ok and short, 7th was ok, the ending of the series os very VERY lame though sadly, Stephen King simply can NOT end a book well, or a series of them.

I loved the Dark Tower series., although I only read as far as the 4th book. I liked Stephen King's Hearts in Atlantis too.

I know!! I hate that!! :'( The book turned out rather slow for me... :lol

I'm not big on the Harry Potter series. Don't much care for the movies either.

Anyone ever read The Fall of the House of Usher? One of my all-time favorites.
