Favorite NES Game Ever..

Yeah, Simon's Quest is still my favorite Castlevania to this day. It was so cool. Man! I keep hoping they'll remake it as part of the classic NES series for GBA.

ditto...but I'm a huge fan of CastleVania 3: Dracula's Curse as well

I'm gonna have one that's not mentioned much...which is very arcade-like, not to mention short...it's called Breakthrough. It just reminds me of playing nes at my uncle's house when I was like 5.

I would go Super Mario 3

I would spend hours playing Mario at my friend's house. Those were the days.

Just remembered one I liked a lilĀ  more than BC...Mike Tyson's Punch Out.

Very much agreed, dude. Mike Tysons punch out is crazy. I've seen so many editted images all over the internet, Their disturbing, but there hilarious. They all make fun of the screen before and in between rounds. Mike Tyson sayin how he is going to rape you and what not.

So many NES and SNES games out their to choose from. Contra, Mario 3, All of the Megamans, World Cup Soccer, Super Mario World, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ninja Gaiden, Rad Racer, RC Pro AM, Techmo Super Bowl, and a game that most people havent heard of Super Smash TV.

But my favorite game of the Nintendo Entertainment System has to be Kirby's Dreamland!

Don't you mean Kirby's Adventure? :)

Excellent game btw

Gargoyle's Quest 2
Mighty Final Fight
CastleVania 3: Dracula's Curse
Mega Man 2-3-4
Metroid

So yesterday I was at my brother's house, and this very question came up. I asked him point blank, and he responded with, "I don't know. I haven't played them all yet." I replied, "Well neither have I. I don't think that's possible." He smiled and proceeded to tell me that he has an emulator and has every single NES game that was ever produced. From everywhere. The U.S, Japan, China, Europe, etc. The list was so long that it took his computer a few minutes to list them. I am now jealous. But is that the same?? There's an aura about the boxy gray and off-white NES. The sometimes annoying blow-the-cartrage-to-get-it-running routine. The square D pad...
I need an emulator.

To be honest the emulator isnt that great unless you have the control pad hooked up to your PC. To me the keyboard doesnt do justice to the console controllers and vice versa. I have an NES emulator right now and its ok. And how does he know he has the whole collection? Does he check them all?

My fav would have to be Super Mario 3.

Wow...

Creepin', I think he did a search on what was produced, and he is certain that he has them all. But then again who knows for sure?? There are games that are still being produced for the NES in certain parts of the world.

I liked so many games for the NES. I mean, there was Mario 3 and Zelda and Contra and Metroid and Kirby and Bomberman. For some reason whenever I think of NES, Excite Bike comes to mind. I spent hours designing courses to play and stuff. But then there some really off the wall games that were pretty cool, though I was too young to remember the names of most of them. Great games though.
