I came, I saw, I conquered..fixing to play it right about now..
 
so far so good, I love it...they added in new backgrounds during the Battle scenes....a brand new intro (which is friggin NICE!)....some music remix (yet the remixes don't steer too far away from the formula)

Some of the characters recieved an artwork make over and they look great! Cid and Rosa especially.

It just blows my mind, it feels like yesterday I was playing this on Super Nintendo....and now having it on a portable system is like, having a mini-cupcake...it's sweet as ever....but just tiny now lol

L and R (when walking in the overworld) easily let's you switch who's first in the party)
 
This was one of the best old-school Final Fantasy games IMO. I can't wait to get it. I wish they left the music alone though...
 
Don't worry, the music hasn't been messed with that much at all to be honest, just a few tunes have a nice upbeat to them now, I kind of like them. Yet rest assure you will not be disappointed! :) In other words, they did not go over-board with the remix. Kind of "polished up" so to speak
 
Yknow, i have never really had a love for portable systems, but I'm really starting to think about going out and getting one. Just for games like this.

Same here, but lately GBA and DS has really pushed the limit of what the little hardware can really do! It blows my mind that only a few years ago and even a decade ago we were playing this on PSX or SNES, now it's on the small screen...perfectly translated...it's gorgeous...the only thing I want badly right now is Final Fantasy V Advance. Sure I said before, but man I just can't get over this! It's Final Fantasy IV...on a GBA.....how? I dunno, but *Sings like Peter Griffin* man this game is FRIGGIN SWEEEEEEET! :D
 
It's worth it...but $29.99 is arguable imho, I traded in a few games to bring it down. If this was $19.99 I would say GO, but honestly $29.99 is up to you.
