First look at Sonic Unleashed (Wii, PS3, and 360)

I'm not overreacting, I was pointing out they have about six months left and asked if you could name two good Sonic related Sonic Team games.
It depends on the size of the game to be honest, but some games take six months just to iron out bugs. I wouldn't be surprised if they're finished adding content to Sonic Unleashed within a month or two. So I would expect that they've almost finished the game at this point. Much of what's left will be spent getting rid of glitches, if Sonic Team is smart.

o_o well while i'm not really sure of the 360/ps3 version i know for a fact that the director of sonic rush is a smart guy, EVERYTHING that was bad on sonic rush (bottomless pits, and lack of extra content, etc etc etc) was fixed on its sequel sonic rush adventure, and if the guy is as smart as i think he is then the wii version will be the revenge of sonic (though the only real bad sonic games are shadow the hedgehog and sonic 360/ps3)

I'm guessing that game was ridiculously glitchy.
Quite possibly the most glitchy game of the year. You would fall through the floor constantly, and you'd think the insanely long loading times would mean the level was, you know, really nice.

Across thirty-nine reviews, Game Rankings recorded the average score as 46%; the second poorest average for an Xbox 360 title at the time of the game's release.[7] Sites like IGN admitted that "it offers a few good ideas, and a handful of exciting moments, but none of this helps the game recover from a catastrophic loss in control." Gamespot called it "a mess from top to bottom," while the Detroit Free Press referred to it as a "train wreck of a video game."

Dave Halverson of Play Magazine is notable for initially giving the game its biggest praise; a score of 9.5 for the 360 version. This was dropped down to 8.5 in the next issue, with Halverson explaining how he was incorrectly told that the load times and glitches in his review copy would not be in the finished product. Later, Halverson gave the PS3 version a 5.5, expressing his disgust not only for how the glitches and load times had not improved, but how the game actually ran worse despite the extra development time.

Sales were lower than expected for a premier Sonic title, with only 38,000 units being sold in the first two weeks.

They can apologize all they want, but it's been the same cycle every time.

i hated shadow but i have to admit that game didn't have that many glitches.

I'll believe them when they say they're moving on. :)

You won't. That's good. They need criticism. That's how every company gets better. :)

I'm pretty sure I covered how you can't really trust what they say back on the first page.

And I'm pretty sure I covered how I'm going to believe them...well..in almost every post in this thread.

That's kinda why I don't want to get the Wii version. :-\

And since I don't have any games for the Wii, I don't want this being my one and only on it.
