First next-gen Spyro game for 360/PS3. "Dawn of the Dragon"

Here are some new images of Sierra's Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon for PS3 and Xbox 360, the latest installment of the 3D platformer series. The game will have a new female dragon named Cynder, her control will be quite different from Spyro. Cynder will come along with Spyro, there will be situation where Spyro and Cynder must team up together. There will be stages where Spryo must fly and it is also possible to attack enemies with combat / grappling moves.

That's exactly what I said when I saw this...  He looks strangely shiny though o.O

Some of the pictures look really pretty though.
 
Hmmm...why is this in the 360 section if it's also coming out for the PS3?

I don't know...Spyro would have to do something amazing for me to pick up a $60 version of it.
 
Adding more playable characters until it will eventually flood the series like Sonic? Not the best move.

I think more of our members have 360s, but it probably should have gone in the general discussion.

Because more people have 360's and this is a more popular board.  If you want a PS3 topic than go make one.  Does it matter?

And I don't think I really like the fact that they added a new character... =/

I just thought it was weird since we've always posted threads that have multiple consoles in the general discussion..like having no bias.
 
I don't think people are bragging about Spyro games anymore.
 
I was going to move this to general discussion when I first posted, but then I decided to let Mega make the decision, since he's the one who originally posted this in the 360 forum. :)

I've never been a fan of Spyro, so I can't say I'm excited.

Good Idea, but I don't know, Spyro may get upset Mai =( Oh well! He's gonna have to DEAL WITH IT! I moved it to GD.

I stopped playing Spyro games after the first one. Although I liked the first installment, I didn't see the reason to play any of the others...
 
I was a huge fan of it back in the day with the first 3. Me and my cousins (back when we were kids / pre-teens) would try with all our might to beat the first one.

They just haven't been the same since Insomniac stopped working on them. Spyro the Dragon was my first PSX game :'(
 
I don't think the person who did that write up has played any of the previous Spyro games. The female dragon named Cynder is not a new character. Being able to use her as a main character in the gameplay is what is new.
