Folklore

Luigi's Mansion? I really enjoyed that game. I'm browsing on my Wii right now so I can't see the trailer, but I will check it out later on my PC.

Hell YES Folklore. This game is going to fill a need I have with the PS3, and I think take a LOT of people by surprises. Not sure about the LM thing though... its more like Lost Kingdoms.

Don't start.

@Mai, yeah i enjoy a good one once in a while, but i think even YOU can agree that too many generic ones come out. i think iv brought upon the image that i dont like rpgs. i do, i enjoy great ones, mainly action, but turn based are cool too. its just that there are a lot of lame ones.

agreed?

And this post was in anyway necessary, or relevant, how?

Folklore really looks interesting, though. I'll definitely have to pick this one up, if get a PS3. Does it have a release date or anything?

Of course if you play every rpg out there you're going to run across lame ones. But personally that's why I do research, play demos if they are available, watch previews, get friend's opinions, and read reviews. Generally even good rpgs are underrated so anything in the 7-10 range is worth a second look. So far it's worked. The most recent rpg that I can recall that I thought was horrible was Lunar Dragon Song on the DS.

well normally when i play an old school rpg (like blue dragon) i know is not gonna be really innovative so instead of looking at the gameplay i look at the story, there is no point of playing an old school RPG if the story is generic and boring

True, which is why there isn't much point in playing Blue Dragon apparently.

I'm happy its more action/adventurey. I like RPG's with good combat, combined with a great story of course.

i countered his constant negativity with one of my own. i have nothing personal against hines i talk to him on xbl, but lately all he says is negative things that just bring the topic down. dose of the old medicine. im not gona say anymore... it just needs to be toned down is all

ugh!! i have it reserved but im not sure how to pay the rest off!! and halo for that matter... i start my job tomorrow tho... :)

Stay on topic.

Folklore looks really good...and when I get a chance, or when it's available for preorder, I'm definitely putting money down. :)

I don't think it will be anything, you know, amazing, but I'm sure it will be enjoyed by all who play it. Seems like a very nice, Adventure game to get for the PS3. And very pretty, with some awesome art and design.

Also, is anyone thinking of grabbing the PSP one as well later on?
